What is a JetBlue voucher?

JetBlue voucher is a kind of credit issued by the airline as compensation to all those travelers who either cancel their reservation due to some reason or could not board their flight. In this situation, JetBlue provides a voucher for credit points and puts it into the travel bank account of its travelers. 

You can use the voucher for JetBlue operated flight or the airfare portion of a JetBlue vacation package while making a reservation in the jetblue.com or JetBlue app. You can combine your JetBlue voucher points with other forms of payments that include credit cards as well as true-blue points.

How to use Jetblue voucher?

If you have your JetBlue voucher points, you can use them to book up to 100 + destinations. You can use your voucher for the following purposes.

  1. Airfare and taxes for all the flights operated by JetBlue

  2. For the air portion of vacation packages by JetBlue

  3. You can also it against change and cancelation fees, any increase in airfare for changes

  4. You can use it to book your flight on partner airlines

  5. You can use it for a non-air portion of vacations packages on JetBlue

  6. You can use your voucher on the payment screen while making a reservation, there you can select travel credit, and a drop-down list will appear. To do this, you can log in using true blue credentials. Besides, you can also edit the voucher amount as per your requirement. 

You can't use your voucher for the following purposes

  1. For an ancillary fee or items added after the original booking, including fee for checked bags, advance seat selections for blue basic or other seat fees, etc.
  2. You can't use your voucher for other online sites instead of jetblue.com and the JetBlue app.

How do I claim my JetBlue voucher?

If you have your JetBlue voucher, you can claim them while booking your ticket, or you can also call the JetBlue vacations. To redeem the JetBlue voucher booking, you can follow the procedure given below.

  • At first, log in to your travel bank account to check whether the voucher amount to be used for your booking is available or not and what the expiry is.

  • Once you log in, you can go ahead with the booking process by clicking on the book now link on the left of the screen.

  • In case you don't have a JetBlue account, you can go ahead with JetBlue booking via the official website.

  • Click on the book flight options, enter your departure and arrival destination, fill in all the other details, and click on search flight.

  • Now you can select the most suitable flight as per your requirement.

  • Now on the payment page, you will get an option to use your voucher.

  • You can choose the option of JetBlue travel credits and apply the amount you want to use

  • Once the booking is made, you will get a confirmation mail from the airline.

Following the online instructions on the screen, you can redeem your voucher. You can also use your voucher to book a reservation for anyone you want. It's not necessary to match the account name with the traveler's name.

Are JetBlue travel credits transferable?

The credits in JetBlue travel banks are non-refundable. But you can use your travel credit points to purchase another person's ticket; they may be your family, friends, spouse, child, etc. The condition is that booking must be made by the same person to whom the travel credit is issued.

How long are JetBlue vouchers good for?

Vouchers issued by JetBlue are good for one year from the date issue and valid until 11:59 PM central time o the date of expiration. When you use voucher travel credit, credits that are closed to the expiration date will get deducted first from the account. You can also extend your JetBlue vouchers expiration date. JetBlue voucher extension can also be done by speaking to the reservation department.

Are JetBlue flights refundable Covid?

Yes, it is refundable; JetBlue announced in February that the airline would eliminate change and cancelation fees on blue, blue extra, blue plus ant mint fares. If you are traveling in blue basic, which is the lowest fare of JetBlue, you have to bear the change or cancellation fee. 

If you used any JetBlue travel voucher covid, you would get the travel points back in your travel bank. Also, as per the JetBlue refundable policy, if you cancel the reservation within 24 hours of booking, you will get a full refund irrespective of your ticket type.
